| Well it’s not a chair or a bench although it is strong enough to sit on. A testament to the inherent strength of the cleft ash legs with gentle steam bent curvature & the ever reliable through mortice & tennon joint with a visible finish on the table surface. Created from ‘I wonder if that would really work & be a good idea’ type of moment, this side table was born. Of course it is unique and pleasing to view even as an object in its own right, a sculptural form. However, you can also put things on it. Perhaps though that might just be clutter to spoil the view! |
