Curvaeous, sinuous limbs of ash, cracked blocks of dark beech & highly strung stainless steel cables combine together in a synthesis idea of abstract, potential tension & movement. First conceptualised as a small scale model in 1998. Now realised in 2005 as a full size art work.

You may bring or take away many images, forms or thoughts with this piece, however there are some common associations which are inevitable/intentional within this work. The mix of organic fluidity & hard taut lines create tension within the work that, although it does not move, certainly imparts the sensation of movement.
